01Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how FeedSavy ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use the FeedSavy mobile apps, website and related services (the "Service"). It should be read with our Terms & Conditions.

We act as the "data fiduciary" / "controller" of the personal data described here and follow applicable laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, and — where they apply to you — other laws such as the GDPR.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details: name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and sign-in details, or an identifier from a sign-in provider such as Apple or Google.
• Content you save: links and content you share to FeedSavy, plus related metadata such as title, caption, hashtags, creator name and thumbnail; and the categories, notes and tags you add.
• Extracted results: the steps, lists and details generated when you use Extract.
• Referral and promo data: referral codes, promo codes you enter, and rewards earned.
• Support messages: what you send us through the contact form or email.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, crash logs, and how you use features (for example saves and extracts used).
• Cookies and similar technologies on our website (see below).

Payment information

• Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play or our payment provider. We receive confirmation of your plan and transaction status, but we do not receive or store your full card details.

• To provide the Service: save, organise, search and sync your library across devices.
• To run AI extraction on the items you ask us to extract.
• To manage your account, plan, quotas, payments, referrals and promo codes.
• To send service messages (for example receipts, security alerts and policy updates) and, with your consent where required, product updates and offers. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix bugs.
• To understand usage and improve features and performance, using aggregated or de-identified data where possible.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Our legal bases (where applicable) are your consent, performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running and improving a safe Service, and compliance with law.

05AI processing

When you use Extract, the relevant content (for example the video, audio, caption or text of the item you chose) is analysed by automated systems, which may be operated by trusted AI and cloud providers acting on our behalf. We share only what is needed to produce your result, and we require these providers to use it only to deliver the Service to us under appropriate confidentiality and security terms.

06How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these situations:

• Service providers who help us operate FeedSavy — cloud hosting, databases, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, email/SMS delivery and payments — bound by contracts to protect it.
• App stores and payment platforms (Apple, Google) to process purchases and subscriptions.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, court order or government request, or to protect the rights, safety and property of users, the public or FeedSavy.
• Business changes: if we merge, are acquired or sell assets, your data may transfer to the new owner, who must honour this Policy.
• With your consent or at your direction.

07Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses a small number of cookies and local storage to keep the site working, remember preferences and understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the site works. The mobile apps may use device identifiers and SDKs for analytics and crash reporting, which you can limit in your device settings.

08How long we keep data

• Account and library data: for as long as your account is active.
• After deletion: when you delete your account or an item, we remove it from active systems within [30] days. Backups may persist for up to [90] days before being overwritten.
• Payment and tax records: kept as long as the law requires.
• Logs and analytics: kept for a limited period, then deleted or aggregated.

09Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring, to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your device secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

10Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Delete your data or your account;
• Withdraw consent at any time (this will not affect earlier processing);
• Object or restrict certain processing, and request portability where applicable;
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity (under Indian law);
• Complain to us, and to the relevant data protection authority.

You can manage most of these in the app (Settings → Account). Otherwise email privacy@feedsavy.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the time required by law.

11Children

FeedSavy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian's consent. If you believe a child has given us data without consent, contact privacy@feedsavy.com and we will delete it.

12International transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country, including by our service providers. Where we do this, we take steps to ensure your data remains protected in line with applicable law.

13Third-party links and services

The Service links to content on third-party platforms such as Instagram and Pinterest. Their privacy practices are separate from ours, and we encourage you to read their policies.

14Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
